Spay/Neuter Clinics
The Humane Society of Schuyler County partners with Shelter Outreach Services (SOS), a mobile spay/neuter veterinary service to deliver high-quality, low-cost spay/ neuter services. Since 2000, the Humane Society has sterilized over 13,000 animals in our community. Shelter Outreach Services veterinarians have collectively spayed over 150,000 animals in five counties.
Due to high demand for this service, priority will be given to income-eligible residents of Schuyler County.

Scheduling
Our clinics are held on the second, fourth and fifth Wednesdays of each month and are scheduled by appointment only. Eligibility
The Humane Society of Schuyler County offers low cost spay/neuter services for the pets of income-eligible residents of Schuyler County and for feral or barn cats. To qualify, pet owners must meet the Federal Poverty Level Guidelines or receive governmental assistance such as WIC, SNAP, or HEAP. Pet owners will also qualify if they are receive disability or unemployment benefits or are currently enrolled in high school or college. Clinic Fees and Pricing
PLEASE NOTE: Payment is expected at the time of service. We prefer cash or check but can also accept credit cards. Prices are effective January 1, 2024.
