Please PAWS to PREVENT Rabies
Vaccinating pets, like dogs, cats, and ferrets, is one of the best ways to prevent people from getting rabies. It is also required by law in New York State.1 Schuyler County Public Health helps prevent the spread of rabies by providing no-cost public Rabies Clinics each year.
For our clinics:
- Animals must be at least 3 months of age.
- Cats and ferrets must be in a carrier. Please have only one animal per carrier.
- All dogs must be on a leash.
- Please bring only as many animals to the clinic as you are able to control.
- Please bring proof of any prior rabies shots.
- Vaccination is free of charge. Donations are appreciated.
