When to Spay or Neuter Your Pet
Puppies and kittens as young as 8 weeks old can be safely spayed or neutered. We provide sterilization for pets 3 months old and older, at which time they can also be vaccinated against rabies as required by NYS law.
Sterilization before 5 months of age helps to reduce the risk of pregnancy, and is most effective in avoiding unwanted spraying
